Impulsive holidays...
Having finished house moving stuff, Billy and I thought of having holidays for our children. It was not easy to choose the destination where we're going to. First choise, Pulau Umang. Three days two nights holidays in an exotic 'new' island with many interesting offers, children playground, beach, beach, beach, new experience with boating, beach and beach for three days. Asked the sales person to fax the quotation. Done. Show to Billy. Think it over. Cancel. Too expensive, not appropriate at current
circumstances. Need to save money. Second choice, a hotel in Anyer. Called. Full booked until July 16. Impossible. Children will go to their first school day on July 17. Well...the exact decision was ...submit annual leave to HRD. Three days off.
Third choice, was made when we were on the car, in the toll road, think that we may be on the way to Ancol. Nop, why dont we got to Telaga Golf, Sawangan. Where we going after that? Nop. Ok...children were desperately needing a swimming pool. Let's go to ELdorado, Cibubur. Wups...wrong direction...turn around again..and enter to Kampung Indonesia, Kampung China, Kampung Jawa, Kampung.....wrong destination... but hei...don't want to loose the chance, buy some stuff and click a networking with a handcraft vendor for the possibility of side business....go back again...and now entering Eldorado. Not bad. Had a splash...splash afternoon. Had dinner there, and off we went on Jagorawi toll road again heading to Ciawi. Where to? Puncak? Bogor? Got a text message from Endang that Puncak were crowded. Well... Bogor? why not? Turn into the city and voila....Hotel Sahira! good place...good taste...good rate....I'm sure many housewives would like to have their husbands have office meeting in this place since the hotel management would not let any couples stay in except they have the same address written down on their ID card....Hmmmm...
The day after, we had luch at Taman Palem, in Warung Jambu area. New resto with children playground. Fia and Yosua had a very good time with the bikes and specially the mini becak. Good excercise for them....I rode one too! ... hmm now we can appreciate how hard becak driver's profession is...Im pretty sure they have very strong muscles and huge food intake.....
